In Phase 1 we start by having you complete a comprehensive design form that gives us all the details we need to create a design that fits your customers vision, and property constraints.

As soon as the form is submitted we get to work and have you back a preliminary design within 5 business days. 

You will be given a sharable link to a folder containing the 3D renderings, you can share this link with your customers for their review. 

You will have 2 full revisions included and can submit a revision request to perfect the design to your clients liking. 

Any additional revisions after that are just $150/each. 

Once your design is approved you can then execute phase 2 and we will begin drafting the plans. 

THE DESIGN FORM

After sign up we will send you the design form. On this form you can upload any documents/sketches/photos that will help our design team. 

We will ask you for the following, in some cases not all these items will be necessary: 

We take your approved design and turn it into permit ready construction plans. 

Your plans will adhere to your local building department codes and requests. 

All needed call outs and line runs will be accurately represented on your plans. 

Our plans will spec out recommendations for pool equipment and necessary specs/info for each appropriate phase of construction. We also  Include safety guidelines, vicinity map, and best building practices on our comprehensive and robust construction plans. 

If you would like your branding to be featured on the plans we are happy to include it as well. 

After your plans have been drafted we will send it to you for final approval. Once approved we execute phase 3 and send them out for engineering. 

OUR PERMIT READY GUARANTEE - We guarantee that our plans are permit ready, and if for any reason your building department wants to see a change to the plan we will meet their requests free of charge.   

Construction Plan Example:

Once your construction plan is approved by you, we will send it off for engineering. 

We only work with locally licensed engineers. 

We will take care of securing your engineer, submitting your plans for engineering, following up, and reviewing completed engineering plans. 

Standard engineering is included with your construction plans. The cost for any required special engineering will be paid by you at the time of receiving all needed engineering plans. 

Engineers will not pre-review a plan for free, so you must be prepared to pay for all required engineering plans. 

The cost of special engineering varies based on the pool location and design elements. The average cost of special engineering is between $150 - $750. 

At DIY we do our best to mitigate any surprises by letting you know what engineering costs we believe will come up prior to drafting your plans. 

Engineering is essential to pulling permits, and building a structurally sound pool. So you must comply with the engineers recommendations in order to legally and ethically complete your project. 

Upon receiving your engineering plans and getting a stamp of approval from the engineer on your construction plans you will be fully permit ready! 

After obtaining your permits you will be ready for construction. If you would like our assistance through construction or if you would like to utilize our wholesale pricing on pool equipment, you will have the option to upgrade and execute Phase 4 - Construction Consulting.

This package will cost you only $900 and include the following:
